Digital Humanities and Eco-criticism have become one of the most notable inter-disciplinary phenomena in literary studies today. Eco-Criticism examines the portrayal of nature, ecology and environmental crises in literary texts whilst Digital Humanities uses computational tools and digital methodologies to analyse cultural knowledge systems and literary texts. These fields offer a new perspective on the study of environmental awareness, climate narratives, and futures of sustainability in the area of literary studies. This paper is a critical look at how digital technologies are changing ecological literary criticism, including the use of text mining, of digital archives, mapping technologies, corpus analysis, and environmental storytelling. It claims that Digital DH can extend the method of Eco-criticism and can make ecological knowledge accessible to everyone and foster worldwide environmental awareness. Meanwhile, the paper examines the paradoxes of digital culture such as technological consumerism, electronic waste and environmental exploitation. The study suggests a sustainable literary future through a theoretical discussion and textual analysis, where technological innovation is coupled with ecological ethics. Digital Eco-humanities may be a transformative field that connects literature, technology, environmental justice and sustainability, the paper concludes.
